What is FileOpen |
FileOpen is an encryption program that
permits protected Adobe PDF files to be run from the LPD CD in
the included Adobe 5.0 Reader software but not be copied or
printed. |
| |
|
|
What is placed
on your computer |
A small start-up directory for the
purchased program is created along with an uninstall program
that will remove these entries. In addition, an unlock key is
inserted that will permit the Reader file to run when the CD-ROM
is placed in a drive on the registered computer. |

|
|
The ID number
doesn't work |
The unique ID enclosed in your CD
Amray type case is set to only work once. When entered during
installation, a file on LPD's web site is changed to say that
the ID provided has been used. |
